May 25 - The WIU Fishing Team rescheduled tournament now known as the Memorial Weekend River Rumble
on Mississippi River Pool 19 at Burlington, IA South Launch beginning at 6am till 2pm.
Registration can be done either at ramp between 5 and 5:30am the day of tournament or through our email at fishing@wiu.edu.

Results for the HOI Crappie Club Tournament held May 11th at Evergreen Lake :
The wind was brutal, the teams scattered all over the lake. The fishing was slow but steady.
Most teams caught between 8-15 Crappies. 7 were needed for weigh-in with a tie for 3rd
1)Dan Whitecotton & Brent Whitecotton - 5lb 6.9 oz total with Big Fish 15.4 oz
2) Mike & Pat Brockhouse - 4lb 7.5 oz total with Big Fish 13.4 oz

Even with the weather conditions
12 boats entered Ol´ Joe´s 2nd Catfish tournament of the year.
- Big fish was 7.7 caught by Bryan Espy of Maroa for $120.00...
- 1st place went to father and son from Bloomington, Tony and Reece Haney, with a 6 fish total of 38.3 for $480.00..
- 2nd place was Clint Paradee and Randy Coxof Decatur and Clinton with a 6 fish total of 34.8 for $290.00..
- 3rd place was also a father and son team, Dave and Brad Clark of Bloomington with a 6 fish total of 34.7 for $190.00..

Results for the Relay For Life – Open Bass Tournament – held on Lake Bloomington April 21, 2013
Fishing conditions were tough and the results were as follows:
1st Place $400 Cory Bollman and Ryan Hearon w/1 fish weighing 3.11
2nd Place $200 Brian Bounds and Jason Sharrow w/1 fish weighing 2.10
3rd Place wired2fish.com tackle pack went to Fred Myers w/1 fish weighing 2.02
- Elk’s Lodge 281 - Big Bass awards:
1st BB $150 Cory Bollman and Ryan Hearon w/1 fish weighing 3.11
2nd BB $50 Brian Bounds and Jason Sharrow w/1 fish weighing 2.10
* They were able to raise $1150 for the Relay for Life.
